SUNDAY SCHOOL NEWS

February is here and the students attending Sunday School and WOW School are continuing to bring their Bibles to class and are excited to learn about Jesus! There are even some kids who attend both Sunday and Wednesday. It is exciting to see such enthusiasm.

There are a couple of special dates in February to mark on your calendar. First: Sunday, February 5: The date of our congregational meeting and special Sunday School event. A special thanks to Terri and Jason Morse for hosting this. Worship will be at 9:30 a.m. and Sunday School at 10:45 a.m.

The second change is Sunday, February 12. Worship and Sunday School will both be at 10:00 a.m. There will be a lunch after so we can say good-bye to a special friend, Mary George.

JESUS CHRIST SUPER STARS

This month we are going to begin celebrating the children and youth of Luther Memorial Church. Each of them is an important part of this congregation. Names will be randomly selected and then the person will fill out a star sheet so please come up the Sunday School Ramps and learn all about these awesome kids and youth. Also, please remember to pray for them this month too. February’s Jesus Christ Super Stars are: Victoria Baker, Elliot Morse, Thomas Kelley, Wyatt Espersen, Salem Yebyo, Kurtis Heitman, Carter Viner, Lorelei Pierre, Cecilia Pugh, Nathan Schwagmeyer, Amber Appleby, Sierra Oden, Curtis Palodichuk, Dante Williams, Kelsie Ternes, Mason Garcia, and Justin Peterson.
