CONFIRMATION KICK-OFF September is here! Everyone is gearing up for back-to-school and also back-to-church. Wednesday, September 8th is Confirmation Kick-Off. This is for all 7th – 9th Grade youth and their parents/guardians. We will meet in the lounge at 7:00 p.m. It is very important that all families attend. Confirmation requirements will be gone over as well as other very important information. Bring your calendar as well to sign-up for activities and service opportunities. Each student should have received an information packet in the mail. Please look it over and bring all forms (filled out) to Kick-Off.
RITE OF CONFIRMATION CELEBRATION Congratulations to Kira Oden, Wyatt Pugh, Kelsi Ternes and Julian Welna for successfully completing three years of Confirmation. They will be getting confirmed at the 10:45 a.m. service on Sunday, September 19, 2010. Please pray for them as they continue on their faith journey. Please note that on Sunday, September 12th, after worship, please meet in the lounge to make your stoles!
YOUTH MINISTRY TEAM MEETINGS The Youth Ministry Team meets the second Tuesday of every month. We will meet this month on September 14th at 6:30 p.m. One of the objectives of this team is to plan events for the Youth to participate in throughout the year. Since the events are for you, it would be wonderful if you could come to our meetings and help plan them. We would really appreciate your input. You don’t have to come every month, and you only need to come for about a half an hour.
7-12TH GRADERS SUNDAY MORNING FAITH TALKS Come and check out the Hide-A-Way at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Wonderful discussions on your faith will take place. This is open to all 7th – 12th Grade students.
