VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

WANTED! SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS

We are in need of teachers for all grades except 3-4 and 7-12. The curriculum is easy to use. Teaching is a rewarding experience. We have many resources and exciting events planned for this year. Give me a call if interested: Kay (651-457-0671) or e-mail therres4@q.com.

PASTORAL CARE TEAM

A position on the team is open for the Shut-In Care Coordinator dealing with Visiting and Communion scheduling. Elaine Clausen has joined the team and is calling our Shut-Ins to check in and visit with them on a regular basis via the telephone. Keeping in touch with our Shut-Ins by calling, visiting and giving communion is so important. We are bound together by our faith and many years of fellowship at Luther Memorial Church. COMMUNION HELPERS

Help is needed before and after every communion service at Luther Memorial. The work of setting up for communion and the clean-up afterwards is not difficult. It just takes many hands for everything to work smoothly. If you can help just once or twice during the year, you will be blessed. Contact Judy Larson at 451-2067 for more information.

PARISH NURSES WANTED

Our Parish Nurses are resigning effective December 31, 2006 and we are desperately in need of volunteers to fill the needs of such an important position. Please contact the office at 651-451-2400 if interested.
