VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

 

PART-TIME SUNDAY CUSTODIAN

Beginning June, 2008 we are in need of a Part-Time Sunday Custodian to help out at the church every other Sunday. This position is a paid position. A member of the church would be ideal. Please contact the church office if you are interested (651-451-2400).

 

THRIVENT CONGREGATIONAL COORDINATOR NEEDED

Thrivent Financial for Lutherans requires that each congregation has three volunteer “Congregational Coordinators.” We are in need of one more coordinator. This person helps to administer the funds that are available to the church from Thrivent through their Care in Congregations Program for various events/fundraisers that we hold here at Luther Memorial. PARISH NURSES WANTED

Our Parish Nurses are resigning effective December 31, 2006 and we are desperately in need of volunteers to fill the needs of such an important position.  Please contact the office at 651-451-2400 if interested.

 

HELP WANTED – VOLUNTEER WORSHIP COORDINATOR

We are looking for a person to serve as a Volunteer Worship Coordinator here at Luther Memorial Church. This person would coordinate the schedules for Communion Assistants, Communion Table set up and clean up, and Ushers. Lists of persons currently working in these position are available. Most of the work of this position can be done from home on the telephone or computer – although Sunday mornings at church also works well.
